Layers

Breathing

scents
of fallen
rose petal
secrets

Unwrapping

tied up
boxes
of lost
surprises

Waiting

while tear drops
melt
false maskes
from me

Staring

into mirrors
of screaming faces
behind
shadow smiles

Knowing

layers
illusions
are dissolving

my truth
is being
revealed

You

You
can never be possessed
only devoured
Delicately
Consumed with abandon
Caressed
Yet never touched

to love you
I must surrender
all desire to own
and release any hope
of forever

then
perhaps
from this gloried chaos
comes oneness

Night Walk

splashing in a sea of stars
I danced with puddled street
clear heavens fill my soul with awe
reflections wet my feet

Comets streak ‘cross galaxies
As rain drops cascade down
Alone with lamplit skeletons
Their leaves now dead and drowned

I walk on
This winter night
In my dark, wet universe
Thanking lives once green and lush
For blanketing the earth

First Snow

first snow
white oblivion
whispers
to sleeping earth

hush…

let go
frantic mind
surrender

hush…

forgive your past
your sins
your separation

hush…

a blanket
of serenity

hush

white oblivion
cuddles me
in love’s eternity

first snow
melts,
drips
slowly
down the face
of my soul

hush…
